RE: Dion's Mini - Miniac - 09-07-2015 Well worth all the efforts, you've got an awesome looking racecar on your hands. RE: Dion's Mini - Dion - 09-07-2015 Thanks Ed! RE: Dion's Mini - Dion - 09-07-2015 Some more pictures of the build Subframes lightened and painted RE: Dion's Mini - Richie Rich - 09-07-2015 Well done Dion Like Ed said, I never realised how much work you had put into it. Really awesome. RE: Dion's Mini - Dion - 09-07-2015 My attempt at a Turbo engine that did not go well. Started off like this.... And my turbo attempt ended like this It was then decided turbo is too expensive and NA was the way to go. RE: Dion's Mini - Miniac - 09-07-2015 That cage of yours is super tidy. RE: Dion's Mini - Richie Rich - 09-07-2015 Dion, Where did you get the brake and clutch setup from? What make? Was it an easy conversion? RE: Dion's Mini - Dion - 09-07-2015 Wilwood master cylinders that I got from Summit racing in the U.S. I brought them back in my luggage. It was not difficult to convert to use them. Had to make an adapter plate and spacers to get the master cylinders to fit the original mounting bolts. Also had two clevis made to fit the master cylinder push rod to the pedals. Unfortunately I did not take pictures. RE: Dion's Mini - Jared Mk3 - 09-07-2015 Out of all the great work you've done to this car, my favourite part is still the colour combo. RE: Dion's Mini - Miniac - 09-07-2015 That's a similar colour combo to what I'd planned for my wagon before going for a black and pearlescent roofed scheme. |
