1430cc needed !

She'll have to remain a 998 for now. Sigh haha. Plans later down the line for something else.

The 998 has a Cooper S head though right? So it will have some decent pull.

1000S head still to be fitted. Almost the same as the 998 Cooper head, but smaller ports.

Could you post a picture of the 1000S head or have you already posted pics? I would be interested in seeing how it looks for reference purposes.

There should be a picture here in this thread somewhere. It has an 'S' stamped into the face of the head near the thermostat housing. Various casting numbers.

Thanks Jared. I'll do a quick google search to find the pictures of the head on your thread.

So perdy, what filter media is in the filters? My similar filters on my Dellortos seem to have a sort of cottonwool or sponge that I'd like to replace with something that looks a little better suited to the job.

RE: Charlie - Mini Mk3 - Jared Mk3 - 04-05-2016

I want to take the filters off and have a look properly, but I think it's also a type of foam.

RE: Charlie - Mini Mk3 - Miniac - 04-06-2016

My brother in-law and myself both ran mushroom filters on our CTi Golfs and we bought a sheet of foam from our local foam factory shop which we'd just cut to size, spray with filter oil and fit every so often, worked out to be one of the cheapest mods we ever did.
