You're attention to detail is phenomenal, those wiring harnesses look great.

Managed to finish off the headlights and indicators this weekend, pleasantly surprised by how well it turned out.

I decided to mount the buckets behind the current hole so that I didnt have to do so much cutting and also so that the front trim pieces dont have to be modified. Made a cutting template for the Golf headlights.

Thanks for the kind words guys! I'm getting quite close to being finished which is exciting. I wanted to know how difficult it would be to install the glass? Or is it best left to the professionals?

RE: Tim's Mini GTS Race Car - Miniac - 03-16-2016

If you have the right tools and a spare set of hands it's not that hard but just be sure not to use anything like Sunlight liquid or any other prescribed washing up liquids that are recommended as lubricantsfor fitting the glass as they contain salt and salt assists our cars in rusting, rather attempt to use a similar item that does not contain any salt in it such as one of the regular windshield washing additives.

RE: Tim's Mini GTS Race Car - MiniGTS - 03-16-2016

Okay great, I seem to recall that some people use paraffin as a lubricant?

RE: Tim's Mini GTS Race Car - Miniac - 03-16-2016

Paraffin might actually work well but I'd recommend researching it first just to be on the safe side.
