RE: Turbo Build - Sean1380 - 02-16-2017

if going short stroke, yes.

RE: Turbo Build - Sean1380 - 02-16-2017

if you are going with a short stroke motor, the calculations change, and you COULD use a std 6cc dish piston and just open up the head to 24cc..

Bore 70.64
Stroke 69.9
CC in engine 1095.791842
CC in cylinder 273.9479604
CC in head 24
CC in gasket 4
CC piston dish 6
CC in ring land 1.5
Compressed volume 35.5
Total CC 309.4479604
Compression ratio 8.716843956

Yes that's the one!!!!!!

Then it will be 1100 turbo.

On the compression calc you sent Quinton Sean, I don't see a field in the sheet for stroke?
Are you using another one?

RE: Turbo Build - Sean1380 - 02-20-2017

Are u sure ?

It should be there ?

RE: Turbo Build - DomMINIque - 02-20-2017

It was combined in one of the cells.
So I took it out and made it an actual row.

Thoughts on an 1100 short stroke turbo motor?

I know they are happy to rev.

RE: Turbo Build - Sean1380 - 02-20-2017

But a turbo is for torque, NOT revs.

RE: Turbo Build - Sean1380 - 02-20-2017

All the same, should be a nice engine.

RE: Turbo Build - DomMINIque - 02-21-2017

Yea I'm not one for high revving engine, don't have the big enough jewels to rev these little motors like that.

Thanks for the help Sean.
