What's left on the motor still to complete?

Thanks Dom.

I've started with the diff, but don't have 2 fibre washers (which I thought I had), so can't complete that just yet. I'm STILL waiting on the cylinder head. And then it's the clutch side which I've decided to redo completely. It's not much, but it isn't cheap Smile

I got my grille back from being chromed - really does look good now when compared to what it was. Unfortunately they didn't have the ability to do much between the slats, so I'll try and polish by hand, or spray silver. I'll have to decide at some point.

Not too much in the way of progress lately - work is taking up all my time and energy, especially being winter and having snow falls. I did make a start on assembling the diff today though.

Pointless picture to most, but seeing as I've never done things like this before, it's nice to say/show that I have.

And all back together, ready to fit back to the gearbox :

I also received a MiniSpares parcel and can almost complete the clutch setup. Waiting on MS to get stock of the clutch kits.

That assembled diff does look good. Slow and steady dude. You'll soon have a mint mk3.

Thanks bud, appreciate that Smile

I assembled the clutch cover today with new plunger, release bearing, clutch arm, slave cylinder push rod, clevis pins and throw out nuts. Ready to go back on :

I FINALLY got my rim centres back. What a difference! Also assembled one of the wheels to see what it looks like - well pleased :

I really like how the centres and centre caps look when put together. Really good choice of colour.

The caps make it look almost OEM.

Bro!!!!!

Haven't seen a few of these updates and your car is looking legendary.

What do I have to do to be part of your will?

I also got around to fitting the Force wheels again. I'm rather pleased with the results and glad I changed the colour :
