I was happy to see that as well. Just interesting to see how untouched this car is - still has brass washers on the bonnet hinges : ![]() RE: Original 1275GT Rebuild - Jared Mk3 - 12-07-2015 Bought a NOS front light cover for car while it was available : ![]() RE: Original 1275GT Rebuild - Miniac - 12-07-2015 Looks neat. RE: Original 1275GT Rebuild - Miniac - 12-08-2015 I wouldn't mind a set either. RE: Original 1275GT Rebuild - Jared Mk3 - 12-15-2015 Well, I decided to take the head off the 'S' motor today to see exactly what we have underneath. Looks to be a GTS head : ![]() ![]() The bores are good and clean, no ridges. Also looks to be standard bore from the quick measurements we took : ![]() And the gearbox, with laygear 22G927, so nothing fancy : ![]() Lastly, the cam we're thinking of using in the car at some stage : ![]() ![]() RE: Original 1275GT Rebuild - Sean1380 - 12-17-2015 yeh thats a cut cam, not a genuine ST 649. (genuine should read 648) Nothing wrong with it though. RE: Original 1275GT Rebuild - Jared Mk3 - 12-17-2015 Was looking online, they were marked either C-AEA-648 or AEA-649, so could well be a genuine one. Not saying it is. |
