RE: My mini's - Vinay-RS - 03-31-2016 Hey that actually looks pretty cool. Maintaining the rat rod look actually takes effort and dedication I think, because you would still want the body to be protected, but look like it has aged. RE: My mini's - Grimz - 03-31-2016 I have yet to see a mini pickup ratrod so think this would be a good build. I will treat the rust first before spraying the clear over it though. RE: My mini's - Miniac - 04-05-2016 Arthur has also built a rat mini like this where he's rubbed the car down and cleared over the bare metal and old paint, it looks super cool. RE: My mini's - Grimz - 04-08-2016 Do you perhaps have a pic bud. Would really like to see how it looks. RE: My mini's - Grimz - 04-20-2016 So since finding oldskool taillights are like impossible and frekken expensive if we do. I decided to get a set of trailer light and wrap the black bits in chrome and make my own oldskool lights. RE: My mini's - Enzio - 04-20-2016 I hope you are not drilling/cutting new holes for these RE: My mini's - Grimz - 04-20-2016 Bud This is what I am trying to get rid off. got another piece of sheet metal. Gonna cut this whole tailgate out and replace. Trying to make this car look at least a little bit more decent. RE: My mini's - Jared Mk3 - 04-20-2016 Wow, that rear end looks terrible with those massive lights... It really does bud. cant have the front looking all nice and the back like that. RE: My mini's - Enzio - 04-20-2016 Hahahahaha, oh dear OK, well since that is what you are working with the trailer lights will be an improvement. I was more just wondering if it would not be better to then look into custom bike rear lights - they at least work with the classic vehicle styling. |
