It looks cut to me, looking at how low the lobes are to the centre line.

What type of oil pump drive does it have ? pin or spider ?

RE: Original 1275GT Rebuild - Jared Mk3 - 12-17-2015

I noticed that as well, which is why I'm unsure.

It's a pin drive.

RE: Original 1275GT Rebuild - Sean1380 - 12-17-2015

so it is still a period camshaft either way.

RE: Original 1275GT Rebuild - Miniac - 12-18-2015

Normally they're stamped on the nose of the cam though, being stamped on the shaft would lead me to believe that it's cut as well

RE: Original 1275GT Rebuild - Sean1380 - 12-18-2015

AFAIK, the genuine ones had the stamps on the shaft Ed.

Would love it to be genuine, but if not, one of those things. Great to have nonetheless.

It'll still pull like a train regardless of which it might be.

RE: Original 1275GT Rebuild - Jared Mk3 - 12-19-2015

Definitely, which will make it fun.
