I only realised today that I hadn't tried the boot badge on : ![]() Also, the car now looks like this : ![]() RE: Original 1275GT Rebuild - Vinay-RS - 03-13-2016 Guessing those badges are super rare over here since the GTs are super rare? Well, it's only the second one I've seen, so I'm assuming it is. I could be wrong. Mind you, less than 1000 GT's made locally. Well, I dragged the subframes out this morning and had a look around. I found some interesting things after a clean here and there. GT painted on and the yellow inspection stars on the rear frame : ![]() Still has traces of the green, red and yellow paint to show if parts were tampered with before a service (I'm assuming this is what the paint was for back then) : ![]() Rear frame is decent overall : ![]() Front frame still has its MOWOG paint on : ![]() Just for interest sake, the steering rack still has its Leyland sticker on, showing it was an imported part and not a local item : ![]() ![]() ![]() Roof lining and undercarriage hard line still left on the car for now : ![]() RE: Original 1275GT Rebuild - DomMINIque - 03-13-2016 Jay on that front subframe i see there are bolts that go up through the bulkhead. This is different to what I've seen on mine (bolt goes down through the bulkhead into the subframe). Was this a diffrence between early model cars or clubbys? Then I see your driveshafts are diffrent to the normal type, more specifically the inner cvs, why is this? |
