So I managed to get my hands on these 10" widened steelies.
I know some on you guys may not approve of it however I have a vision of how I want it to look
and I am getting very close to it.
Please note this car is not going to be used for racing or everyday use.
Its going to be just a show car and a sunday drive to the park and back

So this weekend I decided to pull out the grinder and get my grinding on.
After grinding the one side down I sprayed it with a clear coat.
It came out quite good and the textured look, looks amazing.
When I have some time I will get around doing the rest of the bakkie.

I bought them like that.
After worrying the guy to sell them to me from Feb he finally gave in and sold them to me.

So this morning I went to see the progress on the clubman that I had to give back.
The car belongs to my wifes cousins husband and it is currently at the Mini workshop.
They fitted a 16V turbo'd twincam motor in it. Took it for a drive and that thing feels flippen awesome.
Its pushing 130kw and 200nm torqe

Was at the mini workshop recently to inquire about some subframe issues and happened to see the mini at the exact same angle...awesome job done!!!
