RE: Original 1275GT Rebuild - Colin - 03-13-2016 Those inner CVs are actually universal joints. They pre-date CV joints. RE: Original 1275GT Rebuild - Jared Mk3 - 03-13-2016 Dom, from what I've seen, the earlier cars had the two bolts coming up from the subframe through the bulkhead, while the later cars I've seen had the bolts coming 'down' into the subframe from above. This obviously for SA-spec cars, as we never changed over to the rubber mounted and single bolt frame. I could be wrong though, so don't quote me on this haha. Also, regarding the driveshafts; those inner joints are Hardy Spicer type joints. More solid and durable than the rubber cross type joint. Can't quite remember now. The previous owner scrapped the car . . . RE: Original 1275GT Rebuild - DomMINIque - 03-13-2016 That's interesting. Both my bullnoses are 72/73 and they have some of the later features. Has this car got a big or small capacity tank? Or did the clubbys only come out with big capacity? RE: Original 1275GT Rebuild - Jared Mk3 - 03-13-2016 This one has the smaller tank ![]() RE: Original 1275GT Rebuild - Jared Mk3 - 03-16-2016 Got some new wheels for the car : ![]() RE: Original 1275GT Rebuild - Vinay-RS - 03-16-2016 They look a little small for driving wheels... ![]() RE: Original 1275GT Rebuild - Jared Mk3 - 03-16-2016 (03-16-2016, 05:10 PM)Vinay-RS Wrote: They look a little small for driving wheels...
