Ford rocam 1.3 in Austin mini - Sikosis - 11-07-2016
Good morning everyone.
I just had a client contact me and ask if I can do an engine swap for him. he says he has an old Austin mini and wants to put a Ford 1.3 rocam motor in. I have searched the Internet and I see many eengine swaps but none of the rocam.
Has anyone ever done this before?

That is a sweet little motor. I'm sure it can be done. If he has a spare Rocam 1.3 it may be worth a try. If you still have to find an engine, there are better options

It is for a customer who wants it done. He doesn't have the motor as yet.
Would be quite fun to work it all out and build.
Just have no idea if or how it's going to work esp with gearbox
