Centre consoles for a Classic Mini - Vinay-RS - 08-19-2018

I recently saw a few cool images of the UK Mini Special centre console. It looked so right for a Mini. 

I also heard that the VW mk1 Golf centre console would look good in a Mini. Anyone fitted one to their Mini or have any other cool designs for Mini centre consoles?

The '79 1100 Special in the UK had a nice centre console :

Yeah, that's the one.Saw it on TMF and I loved how it looks. Do you know if anyone has fitted one locally?
