SAMCA RUN TO THE VAAL 2016
This annual MG Car Club initiative is again upon us and all Marque Car Clubs
(SAMCA) have been invited to come along and enjoy the day at the
SYLVIAVALE HERITAGE MUSEUM
With every visit more developments at the Museum may be appreciated.
Look out for:
•
A fully equipped and working Blacksmith Shop. The forges will be burning and
some lucky visitors may try their hand at smithing
•
New Outdoor Oven will be fired up ready for baking genuine home-baked
breads
•
New displays in Museum Hall No.2 to admire
•
Genuine Museum home-grown grape juice may be ready for sale
Other attractions are working steam engines, Museum projects in progress, raffle
tickets on sale and the Village & Country Market.
The Tea Room will cater for light meals comprising boerewors rolls, hamburgers, tea,
coffee and cake. The Cock & Bull Pub serves fantastic craft beers and other
beverages. The Courtyard seats over two hundred folks and live entertainment will
be presented.
A donation may be made at the entrance gate, tickets for which qualify for lucky
draws.
Classic Cars will be parked in orderly fashion in the inner precinct and in the public
parking in the outer precinct. Modern vehicles park on an adjacent property.
