Unread posts since last visit

In some other forums there is an option to show unread posts since last visit.
Its quite convenient and would be a nice to have?

And we do indeed have this.

Firstly the black circle next to each forum section indicates new posts in that section. You can clear it by clicking on the dot or using the "mark all as read" in the top bar.

Also there is a "View new posts" menu item in the top bar for new posts.

I tried the View new posts, but was hoping for something that you didn't have to scroll through all the previous posts (which are quite many in some cases), but on checking again its the same in the other forums. So you have to use the Mark as read & click to last page together; no problem - thanks for the reply!
