Hey that actually looks pretty cool.
Maintaining the rat rod look actually takes effort and dedication I think, because you would still want the body to be protected, but look like it has aged.

I have yet to see a mini pickup ratrod so think this would be a good build.
I will treat the rust first before spraying the clear over it though.

Arthur has also built a rat mini like this where he's rubbed the car down and cleared over the bare metal and old paint, it looks super cool.

So since finding oldskool taillights are like impossible and frekken expensive if we do.
I decided to get a set of trailer light and wrap the black bits in chrome and make my own oldskool lights.

Bud This is what I am trying to get rid off.
got another piece of sheet metal. 
Gonna cut this whole tailgate out and replace.
Trying to make this car look at least a little bit more decent.

Hahahahaha, oh dear

OK, well since that is what you are working with the trailer lights will be an improvement.
I was more just wondering if it would not be better to then look into custom bike rear lights - they at least work with the classic vehicle styling.
