Hi Guys and Gals
I am busy building a mini pickup and am looking for a decent set of external hinged doors.
Please contact me if you have, can get, or know of someone hiding them away.
It will be much appreciated
Thanks
Rich

Rich, you can still have the doors off that shell I bought from Trinesh , although there is a bit of a dent in the driver's one (It should just pop out though from the looks of it. I'll take a pic or two if you'd like.

Thats a good question, suppose as you said, its one or the other. Plus on the mk1 the A panel is a double skin, and also has support for the hinges inside the wheel arch.
Hi Colin, that would be great.

Unfortunately mk1 doors will not fit a later mk door aperture. Mk1 doors are smaller and a different shape however you can get the dummy external hinges from Japan to make your mini appear to be of an earlier model.

No problem at all. That guy obviously really wanted a MK1, he even bought the Mk1 light panel and changed to Mk1 rear lights .
Thanks for sharing.

Really nice looking car.
Rich, I was going through some of my stuff from when I was planning my Panelvan rebuild and found the details of a guy that had 3 or 4 sets of mk1 doors and all the spares you could need for the aussie doors. I'll WhatsApp you his numbers, it's been about 5 years since I last spoke to him but you might get lucky and he's local to the Pinetown area as well.
