I accidentally found a DAM 2886 Box and when i stripped the motor it had DAM3168 stamped on the laygear, when Tim told me to count the teeth and discovered it to be a close Ratio box, so that will be used for now and my DAM5626 box for the SC build.

Some spares arrived this week as well.





Yay, got some spares on the mini today, put the boot rubber on, the boot straps, then put the new window channel rubber in as well as the weathering strips.
Thought the heater cable and choke cable looked to bad to put in again so replaced them and put them in with the heater.



i know car is full of stuff at the moment eish.

So thought I would start cleaning my engine parts, got some plates cleaned up and my head. Wrapped everything in glad wrap for when needed for painting, some will try and remove the paint.


Received my crank back from engineers cut 10/10.

Tapered side looking much better than the one that was in my motor.

I know you've covered the items in Glad wrap, just wondering if you might have given them a coat of oil or something for protection?
