So, havent updated my post in a while, been waiting for the mini to come back from interiors and also waiting for my engine parts at engineers.

So here is what got done when it came back.
Managed to source a head that has had some work done to it and unleaded seats fitted and still fresh from the engineers as well.

Here is a pic of the head.

Then on the mini i fitted the back seats, side windows and rear window.

Fitted the new courtesy light i got from Abri a while back, had to make new wires for the doors to the light as it was cut off at the front.

Fitted new shoes with new spring and adjusters and then connected the hand brake! FINALLY some brakes haha

Sticked my first sticker on the window, first of many to come.

So accidentally won this on Ebay, but i think well worth it.

Drivers side door card is fitted, tried fitting the passengers ones but the clips are too worn to fit and just slide out.

For now that's it. Cool At least  a bit more done and a very succesful weekend, except for the front window that cracked when we tried putting it in. Sad

Nice to see some good work getting done on the mini dude. I noticed that you've covered up the storage bins on the sides of the back seats, was that part of your design?

Made some small progress on Syrah this weekend, heat got to me and gave me a headache Sad

Got to put the seat belts on both sides and then both sides door cards are on. Also put Right hand side caliper on and connected that up. Still undecided what carb to go with, but that will be chosen closer to time. Considering painting the bumpers black due to the chrome that came off and showing the brownish colour underneath. Fitted the boot badge and also managed to fit the Window rubber Chrome filler, man that was a bugger to fit.

Surely you should almost have your engine stuff back from the engineers?
