I finally managed to source a twin SU filter box for this car. Slightly warped, but will sort that out. Just happy to have one.

I managed to find an Owner's Manual to go with this car. Probably not strictly correct, but cool to have. I've also had a change of plan with regards to the plastic door step trim; I'll use aluminium items until I can find some plastic items (if I find).

So, nothing much has happened with this car for quite a while now. There are plans to take it in for the paintwork to be done shortly. Hopefully, in that time, I can get around to redoing the suspension and brakes etc. I've also recently managed to acquire a mould to make the SA-only spec Cooper S bucket seats - hopefully I can get them covered in something similar to the current red seats.

Also, I made an 'in the moment' purchase and got a pair of Dellorto FZD carbs. The twin HS2 setup was sold a little while ago as I had other plans, but these came up at a good price and I had to jump at it :

Lovely cars, I was going to run a pair of FZD 32.28 on my GTS but the AEG Cooper S inlet doesn't clear my branch center PIPE so I've gone with a Weber sidie now

I'm hoping I don't have any clearance issues with these. I shouldn't though, as they came off a running car not too long ago. Want to give them a rebuild and refresh though.

The shell is ready and stripped for the panel shop :
