Caesar the 1275 E - Diary of minor changes
Glad things are going better. Always good to compare to someone else's setup. All on track then for the Hermanus run?

Vinay!!

I clearly missed a whole heap of stuff here dude.
Really no need to get so excited about what other people have to say. There will always be someone who has something to say.
It's easier just to not give a f**k.

You definetly should take your car to the car show. My bucket of bolts on 4 wheels (Frakenstein) goes to shows and runs whenever it's actually going.
It's my car for my enjoyment and therefore if I am enjoying it, it doesn't matter what any one else has to say.

Thanks, man Smile Haha, It really is easier to not care.

I'll do as many jobs as I can before the show. As with all our cars, they're rolling projects.

Picked up this driver's manual today. A friend offered it to me as he had no use for it. I think it will look good with the other manual for the Mini.

I decided to try and paint the rocker cover again yesterday. Stuck the cover into the oven before and after painting and I think it came out looking quite good.

And a photo with the new rocker cover nuts and covers.

It's rather cold in Cape Town in the evenings and last time when I tried using the paint, it failed to wrinkle because the temperature was too low. Heating up the cover in the oven was an easy way to raise the temperature.

Fitted the rocker cover on Saturday evening.

I love shiny parts even if they are small and insignificant.
