Right, so after the sand blasting, alot of holes showed which were brazed closed.
All along thinking about how to combat the floor.
So now this is where the warning comes into play.
Yes it is a pickup, and yes they are rare, but with the exchange rate and the amount of panels needed, the option I have chosen seemed to be the right choice.
The floor was cut out
New rear subframe nuts were welded into place as the existing were rusted
The floor was braced for the next step, also keeping the chassis straight.
I attempted this previously, but never had the equipment. I took measurements, angles were confirmed from the shell and new panels were bent
So thats the progress for now. I am awaiting newly bent inner sills and then the new box section can be fitted, thus completing the new floor.
