Not really much of an update. I was able to get one of these lovely books:

The carbs have been stripped down, now to get them ultrasonically cleaned as that is the recommended way to get them nice and shiny. Plus I was able to get a rebuild kit, which will be used once that process is done. Also need to look into the costs of electroplating the linkages.

Finally a big thanks to Ed for sending this clay bar kit to me. Should be a good thing for the paint to get a little attention and hopefully once I get some Meguiar's Polish I will be able to remove the water spots from the roof.
