Ok I will look in to getting a new ignition switch although this one is a few month old.
I also measures at the fuse 1 - 2 with the miltimeter and there is constantly 12v with the ignition switch off. If I am correct it should be 0v with ignition switch off?

yes that's correct, maybe check if the wiring on the switch is correct if it is just a few months old.
