Moved along onto the inlet/exhaust studs.
Such a pleasure to fit a British made product to a classic mini, the lovely Maniflow LCB, fits without hassels and swearing.
Next up my original set of Twin SU HS2 carbs, but I have been toying and building a set of Twin SU H4 Cooper works replica carbs, but the float bowls is still at 20 deg and the needed 30 deg float bowls for the mini manifold will have to special ordered from the UK....Decisions, decisions.

I have sourced the linkages for the choke and new jets etc for the H4 carbs and have a set of K&N filters, but now the next question is the needle needed for this engine setup????? Maybe just maybe I will fit them after the engine has been run in, have destroyed a set of new piston rings in about 400kms on another mini with the incorrect needle choice, but we live and we learn, that was before I have a GUNSON colourtune.

Own some minis, break them, fix them, improve them, test them to the limit....
