Have those rubber doughnuts got thread in the back of them? If not, they're intended as rear springs - front will have thread so they can be compressed with the tool.

Correct I am using back rubbers in front with no whole and applying Dinitrol on the metal surface. Trying to avoid rust in future on the front ones by the thread hole.

If the cones do not have a threaded M14 hole for the compression tool, which I assume you have, then you are going to really battle to assemble the cones, hilos and top arm into the subframe.

This is my thinking as well. Even with the HiLos wound all the way in, it'll be a battle . . .
