Hoping for a red one Vinay is an awesome idea but the colour will never match. I've tried this. But you may find the one you looking for, maybe you've got better luck than me.

It still comes down to cost Dom. I'd love to get a straight bonnet in the right colour (I know it is highly unlikely), but if it is going to cost me an arm and a leg then it isn't worth it.

The last time i found a straight second hand rust free bonnet was R1000.
One still need to paint it the right colour. I really dont know what they are going for now.
Have you tired Doug in Pinetown. He might have.

I'm in Cape Town, minatic, but thanks for the info on the price. It isn't too cheap as I thought and with paint it is definitely going to set me back a bit. Might have to start saving I guess.

hi vinay, they go for nothing less than R1000, infact ive heard prices of R1800 not negotiable as well. to find good bonnets is very scarce now days hence the price

Thanks Trinesh. I think a fibreglass bonnet might be the best option then, if I can't get the one on the car straight again.
