Not too much of a update.

Managed to get most of my engine parts to rebuild the motor.
Will be going 1360 with 285 Piper cam and a big head valve with double valve springs.

When I got my car there was one of those in a box and I couldn't figure out what it was. Eventually I put it on the gearbox change rod where it goes into the casing as that was the only correct size hole. I couldn't get the gear lever to work properly and after cutting it down a couple of times I threw it away. Live & learn - perhaps it was a blessing in disguise   Blush

After a while my gauges arrived in a box all dirty and full of dust, thought to myself it has more potential, sat and cleaned them up and polished themup, even repainted the rings silver again.

The speedo and center gauge glass cleaned and rev gauge still needs to be cleaned. Came out very nice.

All cleaned up even the bottom part.

One half polished and the other side not.

So on Saturday i thought ill fix the gauges and put them back in and test all the electrical stuff. Worked nicely except park light and that started smoking and burnt the wire out, had to fix that up quickly and was perfect again.

Lights all work nicely, happy the rev gauge works as well.

Happy withthe end result.
