13" wheel modification

Hi All!
I am about to get tyres for the 13" Minilites my son gave me as a present, no doubt to try and get me moving on the restauration. My query is ! I know I have to cut the front wheel arches so the wheels won't foul the wing  (got the templates) but will I need to fit spacers as well?  on the front and back? if so what thickness will I need and how long must the studs be. The rims are 13" by 51/2.

Depending on your car and suspension condition, you can possibly get away without cutting.

Spacers depends on wheel offset.
