Dear All, I am looking for advice on the jetting of weber carbs..40 Dcoe to be specific. Who would be seen as the specialists in this regard?Also where could I purchase the jets? Thanks in advance. miniside

Try Stuart, he has built a whole bunch of race cars most of them might have had webers on. I am sure he will be able to help you.

I'll get quinton to log onto the forum and post for you he has a whole host of knowledge about webers and getting.

Before we go any further, lets see what your current jetting for the Weber 40 DCOE is and then we can check what needs replacing and where it's okay to use that size, following info is needed. Download a file of the strip down of the carb and check where what sits and then let us know, we can take it from there then.

main jet

air jet

choke

idle jet

aux venturi

pump jet

emulsion tube

pump discharge valve

needle valve

We'll also need your proposed or current engine spec as this will play the biggest part in what jets and emulsions you'll need for your motor

Hi guys,

I've managed to get to this point on technical details of my current weber 40 DCOE set up:
Main jet - 105
Air correction -185
Emulsion Tube - F11

Idle jet- F11 50

note engine size - 1310, with a DY 5 cam.

Any views/ comments?
