My Van den plas

i was lucky enough to get a van den plas from a mate, car was all the way in Ladybrand in the free state and was truely a barn find, car started and runs fine, has a carb issue and then big penalties on the licence, apart from the paint work, the rest is 100% van den plas, hopefully another one that will be started soon.

This is a lovely car Trinesh and it'll look great once restored.
I know the intention is the get it back to stock VDP spec, but I quite like the mk1 grille and overriders.

unfortunately the grill goes back to the original owner, he bought the grill in uk and carried it around his whole trip , he has two other minis so he will be putting it on there, he gave me original hockey stick grill, it will go to original VDP with some subtle changes.

That's good actually. Especially since it would be closer to factory spec with it fitted.
