Looking to change from 649 cam to something more sedate.
What is available out there to choose from (locally)?

Hi,

I have an HT cam if you are interested. Its the same cam as what Sean had in his mini. 
Its a 264/268 cam. Let me know

For a road car, you just cant beat the low down torque of the HT (High Torque) camshaft.

You guys saw what mine did on the dyno, and that's a motor that has done over 50,000km of hard driving, it beat out cars with ruff rally/racr camshafts and suprised a lot of people.

AND to make it better, it works really great with a set of high lift rockers without effecting driveability or smoothish idle.

Im taking one with me to NZ.

New cam is in after another blown head gasket and its like a whole new car - in a good way Big Grin
Problem is the tyres are going to wear out fast...
Best decision I could have made!
Its quite fun to be able to accelerate and pass people in fourth gear up N12 Mentis hill Tongue

Told ya - no need for "ruff as a bears arse" camshaft in a fast road Mini ! :-)

Anybody know what camshaft this is; I can't find any other markings on it.
