Doug is always my first port of call when it comes to my minis and I wouldn't recommend anyone else if you're after honesty and integrity when it comes to your mini.

Hey There....great to be back chatting online
Posted by: FantaMini - 08-27-2015, 02:11 PM - Forum: Introduce Yourself - Replies (6)

So I have two little Mini's, and tempted for a third one....anyway I have a 1968 MK2 kinda hybrid which was apparently somewhere in between the mk1 (MK1 doors and interior) and Mk2 rear lights. Its a 998cc and has loads of life on it. Then also have a 1973 Mk2 (Mk3 in UK), 1000cc.

Glad to be back on the forum. Looking forward to chatting all things mini.

Guys, I have a set of calipers with the following on them:

3242 613
Lockheed
9DA21241

The above is on the outside half.

Are these from the very early Mini's, as I have only seen other calipers with AP on them

Hi chaps

Firstly, good job Umar for getting the forum up again Wink

I've always loved Minis, my first being a 1974 1275 GTS which I sold many moons ago.

I currently have 4 project Minis (see my sig.) but I am concentrating on getting my 1978 Special deLuxe back on the road.

hi guys, im trinesh from kzn, good to see a forum back up and running, ive owned classic minis for a few years and its really my inspiration in life, everything I do basically revolves around them.

its been a dream of mine to own a daily drive, something in achieved as a student and then never again but one day soon.

my dream mini would be a factory spec GTS or a Rover Sport.

im a purist at heart and also a PROUD bini driver

Hi guys,

My name is Craig and I too have a mini problem, cant stop fiddling with them, although by my own admission I know just enough about working on them to be dangerous Wink

Currently lucky enough to have this 1963 mk1 1380 dressed up as an S:

And then a 1968 mk2 Morris 1000 that is under restoration (or should I say transformation?) since it is going to have most of a 1275 S transplanted into it:

Hi most of you know me already and for those don't my name is Rui (And yes I am Portuguese)

Little about me...well I suffer from a mental illness and that is the MINI addition and I am hoping I am not the only one here that has this illness cause if not I need to get some sort of help or counselling.   Wink Wink

Well like most of you I do own a Mini, or two.....maybe more.... lost count Big Grin Big Grin  Big Grin

Let me introduce two of my pride and joys:

This is Molly:
1982 Mini Clubman 1275E. My very first car that I ever owned.

This is Smurfy:
1967 Mini Bakkie with a 1275GT motor. The one I always wanted.

And I have had others as well but have come and gone. Some of them I don't want to talk about as it hurts to think that I let them go.
