RE: Mini Dash - Boyscout - 09-16-2015 The Centre console is a very neat idea. I mounted 4" speakers in the dash. Would easily fit 5.25"s in there. I also have 8" Limpids on the parcel shelf. Personally I don't like the speakers under the rear seat, they sound dull and muddy, that being said, it is a good option to keep the dash 100% original and still have some tunes in the car. you could probably get some 6,5" in there or ....spit....6x9s. RE: Mini Dash - Miniac - 09-16-2015 I'm going to be making a full interior kit for myself as soon as I get myself some wood. RE: Mini Dash - KAD16V - 09-30-2015 Best place I found was mount a standard supawood stereo housing under the heater control....makes it nice a neat. Will post a pick when I can...I even then mounted my extra engine gauges under that.. Think I'm going to build myself a dash. Probably get some plywood and take it from there. Just need to source some final to cover it with....... no idea yet where to get that. |
