RE: Are twin carbs a worthwhile mod on a standard 1275 E motor - Sean1380 - 04-08-2016 The head he has has been ported ala Vizard recommendations, the ports are very open in and around the guide bosses, it alone would have made the world of difference. The chambers have also been opened up slightly to de-shroud the valves to aid the "in and out" RE: Are twin carbs a worthwhile mod on a standard 1275 E motor - Vinay-RS - 04-08-2016 Awesome Sean and roughly what will a GTS head cost me? RE: Are twin carbs a worthwhile mod on a standard 1275 E motor - Sean1380 - 04-13-2016 Single HIF44 for the win. RE: Are twin carbs a worthwhile mod on a standard 1275 E motor - Boyscout - 04-14-2016 What Sean said. HIF44 is the shizzness. IMHO the twin carbs are slightly better than a single HS4, The HIF44 is a lot better. On a std 1275 you won't really notice any difference between twins and HS4, Single carb easier and cheaper to sort out. Single needle, single main jet, etc. at the current price of over R300/needle it starts making a dent in your pocket. |
