You can also rate a comment that goes to the person's reputation. Not quite the same though.

Ja I used that rating once and the whole thread ended up being rated 5 stars. Wasn't quite my intention.

Back on topic, You can either use the black circles next to each section or the new... Mark All As Read from the top bar
