Amazing what a good clean of an engine bay can do. Well done!

Hmmm..
How so ?

The circular flange that mounts to the head is not of the standard design.

Take a look at mine in this pic

Looks like someone did a great job of turning one and welding on the neck for the radiator pipe. Local ingenuity  Big Grin

I seriously like the look of the one on Kailums mini, but then again I'm known for liking unusual and strange mini related things (my choice of carbs for instance)

i love that thermo housing !!!!

RE: Mini! - Kailum - 09-08-2015

Thanks guys!I was a bit delayed there , havent paye'd attention to the thermo housing Big Grin , The previous owner should get all the credit. Iam still in the process of finding out what "all" has been done to the motor.
I took her for a quick spin sunday afternoon after like a 2 weeks of standing and discovered that thee carbs were out of tune (possibly my tinkering) , put foot down in high gear and it gulps air and all power goes....

We tinkered with the carbs and got atleast one final good run... Was sitting with a huge smile from ear to ear.

Twin carbs can be a right pain in the backside but when setup well, they're phenomenal to enjoy.
