RE: Malcolm aka theMINIguy - Miniac - 09-04-2015 Looking spiffy mate. So which LEDS did you land up using in the end of it all Malcolm? RE: Malcolm aka theMINIguy - theMINIguy - 09-04-2015 I scrounged together enough working original bulbs. I'll look into the LED route if the bulbs fail down the road. RE: Malcolm aka theMINIguy - Miniac - 09-04-2015 That came out seriously bright for a set of incandescent bulbs, normally they're next to useless and these came out awesomely bright. RE: Malcolm aka theMINIguy - theMINIguy - 09-04-2015 I cleaned all the contacts on the bulb holders, and polished up the copper contacts in the PCB. That probably all makes a difference to current flow. RE: Malcolm aka theMINIguy - Enzio - 09-04-2015 Also, there are 3 different wattage bulbs you can use that are commonly available. (1.2W, 3W and I think 5W - more or less) The issue is anything over 3 Watt gets too hot and can melt the plastic, so just check the temps. |
