The hubs and drive flanges were rather crusty and covered in old grease, so I gave them a good clean :

looks like 2 different hubs ? 1 Cooper S type and one GTS ? (the step) no ?

Okay good. The setup that I purchased for the Mk3 also came with mismatched hubs.

Just curious, why not swap the hubs around so that the Mk3 would have a matching set and the 1380 also has a matching set?

I don't know which hubs are which on the Mk3. Also, everything is fitted... I'm not doing that again haha.

Fair enough, also if there is no mechanical impact, I guess it doesn't matter.
Though the OCD brain inside of me says that you have a chance to make matching pairs and it would be nice to do it, even if it isn't useful

Got some bits from Doug for the front subby/suspension - second hand (almost new) rubber cones, new discs, new pads, new rubber brake hoses, suspension rubbers, balljoint kit, caliper seal kits, CV boot kits, steering rack boots and various other small bits. Now waiting for the car to get into a garage to start some work.
