I've barely touched this car in the last few months, but I have gathered a few parts, namely a steering rack, chrome door trims and interior parts like an upper dash pad and carpet set, as well as organise a complete set of black seats and door cards. I just need a rooflining and lower dash pad now to finish the interior off.

I cleaned up the front subframe and painted it up :

I also fitted the AeroCatches to the bonnet, but it is going to be a pain to use while still on the standard hinges, so I'll some small pins in the corners too :

The carpet set was an utter bargain. Brand new and bought for a steal. Not Newton, but decent nonetheless :

I'm hoping to be able to build up the front frame soon - I just need one more upper arm pin repair kit.

Just a thought, if you could take measurements of the carpets and make templates, then you could reproduce them correctly for any other projects. Plus you could potentially assist other Mini builders with their builds Wink

You enjoy the effort of restoring old parts, so measuring parts and making drawings would be cool too Smile

No real progress on this car lately, but I did get an interior for it, namely seats and door cards. Going for full black :

I decided to replace the upper control arm pin/bearings on both sides. I'm waiting for new lower arm pins and shock pins, so I can fit the new bushes I have for everything and get it assembled.

Don't think I fully know what those bearings look like, but it's cool that you're completely renewing all the running gear for this car.

It took longer than expected, but the front frame is nearly done. I just need to get some tie bar bushes (I thought I had, but I can't seem to find them) and some new washers, then I can fit those. The wheel bearings need to be fitted and packed, then fit the new balljoints. Not keen to pack bearings with grease today, so that can wait :
