The Minion 1275 delux Bullnose - Jason East Coast Autobody - 01-21-2016 Ok So this is how the minion project started. It was way back in 2014 where me and my father got this idea of doing a project car for our self and for car shows (there are hardly any here LOL) We both decided to get a lil mini . I browsed the internet daily looking for a bargain (as we all do). In September 2014 I found this lil guy all stranded in a guy’s garage in Bloemfontein. He had this mini for a good couple of years who then sold it to a lady who drove the mini for 3 years, then eventually messed up the motor and vehicle had also been bumped in the front. She then sold it back to the previous dude who originally had it and he wanted to make a project of his old mini that once belonged to him. That’s where I came into the picture; he never had the time or money to get "MINION" back to her glory and advertised her on gumtree. Deal done R4500 cash and I fetched her in Bloem on 26 September 2014 . I was i proud owner of a mini . Then the fun and games started . I knew nothing about minis or models or anything LOL. Took her back home the Sunday me and my father stripped her completely just leaving suspension in and tyres . After a good couple of months i joined the CPT mini club and then Durban , that made life so easy guys always willing to help as i knew nothing . Long storie short , loving every moment i see a change in my car . Hope you guys like my build , hope to meet yo guys and your cars soon . Then mechanics stripped the suspention for me . After that i took the shell and some of her parts to get sand blasted removing all the old paint and it made it easier for us to see what we dealing with . Luckily she wasn't to rusted After sand blasting we sprayed her with red oxcite to prevent rust getting on body while we working on the body . RE: The Minion 1275 delux Bullnose - Miniac - 01-27-2016 Man oh man what a major change has happened to this car, it'll be a testament to your talents and abilities Jason. Keep up the good and hard work. Regards Ed |
