Colin's Mk1 - Colin - 08-26-2015

My old Mk1, which is slowly being stripped.

I live near Greytown in KZN, have three daughters, who're all studying here or there, so it's just me, the dog and the cats out here.

I've just got the one Mini (and a growing collection of 'bits'), and am trying to restore it to close to original, without spending a bucket load of money on it.

Looks to be a really good starting point Colin.

The start went smoothly... It's somewhere after that that things started stalling Smile

RE: Colin's Mk1 - Jared Mk3 - 08-26-2015

I remember this car from a while ago, glad you still have it. Mk3 Front bumper on there as well.

RE: Colin's Mk1 - Colin - 08-26-2015

I've got a Mk1 front bumper for it now.

My old panelvan also has a mk3 bumper on it, I really like how they fit and change the look of the front to a more refined and classy look.

Have you still got the Mk3 bumper?

Agreed! But I'm biased, so don't listen to me.

What is the body shell behind the Porsche?

I have one decent Mk1 bumper and that Mk3 which is good, and two others, one of which is slightly bent and the other badly rusted. I think I'm looking for one more Mk1 and then I can offer the others, but not yet...

I'm not sure, I'll have to have a look next time I'm out there.

I'd be interested in the Mk3 bumper if you ever think of selling it.
