Good morning
My wife and I bought a 1981 1275E Mini. She always wanted a classic Mini and I must admit that I also have fallen in love with the little car. The Mini however needs some TLC. My mechanical knowledge is limited but I am willing to learn.

Let's see some pictures of your Mini. Many of us start from a position of limited knowledge, but it's fun to learn how to fix your own car and can be rewarding too.

Don't be afraid to ask questions, no matter how silly. We all start somewhere. Also, get yourself a Haynes manual. More often than not, the answer to your question is in there.

I was in the same boat as you.
I didn't even know there was a difference between metric and imperial when I got my first mini.
But we live and learn.
Feel free to ask as many questions as you like. There are quite a few guys on here with heaps of knowledge.
