Posting pictures on samini - DomMINIque - 09-05-2015 For those of you who are new to the forum and would like to know how to get the pictures to display in your posts follow this guide. Visit: photobucket.com Create an account or login using your facebook account. Once logged in then you need to upload the photos to your photobucket account. You can either do this by using a computer or by downloading the mobile app and uploading straight from your mobile device to your photobucket account. Once you have uploaded your photo then you need to select the photo you want to post on the forum ![]() Once the picture has been selected then you need to select the image code ![]() You then paste this in your post and the images will display. RE: Posting pictures on samini - Leykor - 09-15-2015 The method detailed by domMINIque is the best way to keep clutter off the forum server. However it is also worth mentioning that the Forum supports images of up to 500KB each in the following formats, png, jpg, jpeg,gif and bmp. jpeg/jpg and png are preferred. To do this properly, when using Windows (that has office installed), open your (possibly large size) image with microsoft office like so: Then you can do two main things to get the size down, 1: Compress the image:

Once you are done use the File->Save as button from the top bar (to prevent overwriting your nice high quality origional) and you will have a image that smaller and can be uploaded using the attachments section below your post: Using only step 1 above I have reduced images in size from over a megabyte to a few KB (less than a tenth the original size) RE: Posting pictures on samini - DomMINIque - 06-21-2016 So since Photobucket has been on the blink I have now moved over to flickr. The steps are are follows: Visit: flickr.com Sign up (you'll need to create a yahoo account) If you already have a yahoo account simply just log in. There is also a mobile app to download for easy upload without struggling too much (there is even an auto upload feature for your convenience) Once you're registered you can start uploading your pictures. To share them to the forum here are the steps: Open the image you would like to share and select the share button (circled in red as below) ![]() Once you've clicked there it will come up with a popup, select the BBCode tab, select your image size and copy this link into the body of your post and walala.
