Mini Moke - Johann MvV - 05-24-2018 I own a sound shop in Centurion (CELLSOUND), but over the last few years I have been more and more involved in the building and restoration of older vehicles. The more recent ones include: 1970 Opel Rekord Coupe - bare metal respray and installation of 30 liter Opel straight six engine with fuel injection 1968 Ford Mustang - bare metal respray, extensive damage repair, new wheels interior, sound system. 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS two door hardtop - built from scratch with GM LQ9 6 liter engine. 1974 Beetle - built as birthday present for a customer's wife 1972 C10 Chevy - restored to original 1976 F100 Ford I am currently in the process of building a couple of Mokes for a customer of mine (Couple = 2) The cars have led a very hard life and consequently have suffered extensive damage to every panel. Somebody has attempted a restoration of the cars and in the process have cut the bottom halves of the tubs away. Long story short, I had no usable reference points to work from, so I decided to start from scratch. I currently have one body about 50% completed and the other one about 70% completed. I will post a thread of the build in the projects section. RE: Mini Moke - DomMINIque - 05-25-2018 Welcome. Sounds like you really have your work cut out for you with those 2 mokes. RE: Mini Moke - MDG - 05-26-2018 Welcome. Enjoy the projects ahead. |
