New mini owner - Jaundre46 - 08-21-2018 Hey guys just recently got a bullnose mini. It's in rough shape and has no papers currently, the body panels don't look too bad and looks like minor surface rust the body itself is straight. It looks like it was the minis original color and I can't see any repair work done on it yet... I am getting the subframes and a 1100 motor with bonnet with it... I'll be restoring the mini over a long period as I want to take time in restoring it and getting the right parts for it. First thing I want to do is to get the papers or get it cleared, after that I'll be sending it off for sandblasting to see what the shell looks like. From what I can see so far the left front floor panel has a bit of rust as well as the left outer sill. (08-21-2018, 02:24 PM)Jaundre46 Wrote: Hey guys just recently got a bullnose mini. RE: New mini owner - jimmyjamjar - 08-21-2018 Congrats on the idea of saving another mini. It may look like a bit of a wreck but I have seen much worse restored to pristine glory . Let us know of progress and lots of pucs as you proceed RE: New mini owner - Vinay-RS - 08-21-2018 Welcome and best of luck with the restoration. The great thing about Minis is that there are spares readily available, including new body panels.
