Well I fixed mine by soldering the breaks and it has been working for many years since then.

A new PCB will be nice, but only if the cost is reasonable

Nope, still waiting to get an actual quote to get some manufactured.
I've approached two companies, one has replied and they cannot help.
Patiently waiting for the second to reply with a costing, they have responded but still no quote.
