Cv joints and upholstery needed
#1
Sorry for my negligence but anyone know where to get cv joints for a 1275 gts, not sure if there is a difference in the models. All so looking to find someone who does upholstery on a bit of a tight budget after just buying the car but any recommendations is appreciated thanks  Smile

Hi Kyle,

Have you had a look on the map of spares in Cape Town:

I'm sure Jimmy's motor spares had CV joints for disc brake minis when I checked last year.

The CV joints you'll need for the discs are different to the drum brake CV joints. They're thicker and take a bigger hub nut.

Yeah Jared, I think they were the disc brake CVs. The shaft was larger (and longer?).

We all start somewhere. I'm still a noob. Great thing about these forums, is that there are experienced people to learn from.

Don't be afraid to ask questions - there's only one way to learn Smile I'm still learning.

With being a mini owner, every day is a school day. I've been playing with minis for 12 years now and I still learn something new every time I look at my mini and my books on them.
