2 yellow to miss number 2= built from number 1 and a donor. 1098 cc +20/1000 bored. Single HS4 carb on a Mini Spares manifold with K&N cone filter, TNT LCB exhaust running into a 50mm exhaust with standard size box. A008 Yokohama 165x10s on MMAA Mkl  mags with 7.4" Cooper S disks. Modified to a metal  (not fibreglass) flip front. The rest is absolutely standard.

That is a good looking Mini. Would be great if you could re-post all your pics from the old forum. I recall you did some serious work on the flip front with hinges and latches.

Yup, the old freeforum closing down did land us being short changed by losing all the builds and so on, but now we're back up and running towards brighter and longer lasting horizons. The old forum did us well for around 6 years, it's just a pity that we lost all the accumulated data.

I will do another story on the rebuild. I'm just having trouble posting pictures here- I cant get the url right posting from Photobucket and doing pictures as attachments is a paaaiiin. Will check it out when I have an afternoon free.

I find the easiest way is to just copy the IMG code and to paste it straight into the body of text rather than to use the attachment button.

Seeing this car in the metal is so cool. So many intricate details, like the flip front latches and that lovely polished rocker cover and T bolts. One very tidy engine bay and it is amazing how much space there is thanks to the flip front.
