Missing my mini terribly

Good afternoon everyone

Firstly,  this is an awesome forum and I am very happy that I could join.

My story...

I owned a mini from 1999 to 2002 (Don't know what model, but l it was a bullnose 1000/1100 I guessed at the time) I had to sell her to get something newer because of new baby on the way .  I loved that little car to bits,  And when I sold her it felts like someone had stabbed me in the heart.  I still miss her daily.  I hope that one day soon I will be able to find another.

I really enjoy looking through all the info on this forum, all the comments and pics.  It is really awesome the camaraderie you find with mini owners.  I will upload some pics of the mini I had.  I am currently trying to find the gentlemen I sold it to in Cape Town.  Wouldn't it be awesome if I could buy back the mini I sold?  Here is hoping.

Unfortunately sometimes life happens and we can't control it all but here's to hoping you find your mini again, if not the same one one which you'll enjoy just as much if not more.

a few pics of my mini   The quality is not great so please forgive me, no hd cell phone cams back in the day.


Also some good new.  After weeks of hunting and many hits and misses found a new mini to call my own.  Pics to follow

I havent had a chance to spend some quality time with the new addition to the family yet.  But I have a plan of action that I would like
to follow in the fixing up/restoration (Wont be complete restoration, just enough to get her on the roadworthy, on my name and licenced)

1.  Get her on my name.
2.  Get a mechanic to give her a once over (mechanics, electricals, clutch, breaks and lastly complete valet as her interior is not bad at all just a little dirty)
